Lisbon, April 07, 2025 – At the invitation of the President of the Lisbon City Council, Carlos Moedas, the board and members of the Portugal-India Business Hub (PIBhub) had the honour of attending the official reception of the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, the 15th President of the Republic of India, during her state visit to Portugal. 

On this occasion, President Murmu was awarded the Key of Honour of the City of Lisbon, symbolising the deep respect and friendship shared between Portugal and India.

PIBhub was deeply honoured by the recognition extended during the ceremony, particularly as Mayor Carlos Moedas highlighted PIBhub’s role as a catalyst in strengthening bilateral relations and fostering cooperation between the two nations.  

It was a memorable and inspiring moment that reaffirmed the importance of partnership dialogue and shared purpose in advancing the Portugal-India connection.
