New Delhi, March 24, 2025 – The Portugal India Business Hub (PIBhub), represented by its President Altino Álvares, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), India’s oldest and most influential business chamber, represented by Deputy Secretary General Anshuman Khanna.

This strategic partnership was established to advance bilateral trade and investment, support SME and startup internationalization, enhance sectoral cooperation in key industries and strengthen institutional support for business growth between Portugal and India.

Special acknowledgements were extended to: 

•  Mr. Anshuman Khanna, Deputy Secretary General at FICCI, for his leadership and commitment to this collaboration;
• Ms. Gayatri Gogoi Prasad, Director – Europe International Affairs Division at FICCI, for her dedication, coordination, and continuous support throughout the process;
• Ambassador Puneet Roy Kundal, Ambassador of India to Portugal, for his dedication to strengthening economic and cultural ties;
• Ambassador João Ribeiro de Almeida, Ambassador of Portugal to India, for his continued encouragement and support.

This MoU reinforced the shared mission of PIBhub and FICCI to serve as a trusted gateway for companies and institutions expanding between Portugal and India, promoting innovation, investment and sustainable growth across both markets.
